Aroma: deep, warm, earthy. There’s lots of blackberry, lots of juicy dark cherry.
Taste: lovely juicy ripe and developed Pais. Lots of lush juicy ripe cherry and blackberry fruit with some dry dusty supple tannins that come in on the mid palate and give the wine some depth and texture that you can sink your teeth into. It adds a bit of a mocha flavor, then a deep cherry/raspberry jam. A lovely mocha flavor lingers as the tannins build, gather the wine up, tone the fruit down, and draw out the finish without being too edgy or overeager.
